Veterinary Nurse (Full‑Time/Part‑Time)

About the role

Greencross Vets Mt Gravatt is seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join a collaborative, busy clinic on a full‑time or part‑time basis. The role involves hands‑on nursing across surgery, hospital care, consultations and client support.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake pre‑ and post‑operative patient care and surgical preparation.
• Assist veterinarians during consultations, procedures and minor surgeries.
• Monitor anaesthesia, manage patient recovery and provide medical nursing.
• Collect and process pathology samples, perform dental nursing and maintain hygiene standards.
• Handle client enquiries in person, by phone and email, and support reception duties as needed.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 + years clinical veterinary nursing experience.
• Strong surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with RxWorks (desirable but not essential).
