Veterinary Associate – GP Clinic, Mount Gravatt

About the role

A well-established GP veterinary clinic in Mount Gravatt is looking for a Veterinary Associate. The clinic has an experienced Veterinary Director, a varied caseload ranging from preventative care and medical workups to soft-tissue procedures such as foreign body removals and cystotomies, and is equipped with digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory. Co-location with Petbarn brings a steady stream of new clients, and AEC Woolloongabba provides after-hours and higher-acuity support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage consultations, routine surgery and medical cases
• Perform soft-tissue procedures such as foreign body removals and cystotomies
• Work collaboratively with a supportive team

Required profile

• BVSc, DVM or equivalent qualification recognised by the AVBC, eligible for veterinary registration in Queensland
• Comfortable managing consultations, routine surgery and medical cases
• Enjoys working collaboratively with a team that cares about doing things well
