Venue Manager – Amici Wine Bar & Deli

About the role

Lala Hospitality Group owns Amici Wine Bar & Deli, an Italian-style venue serving wine, spritzes, food and deli favourites in a relaxed setting. It is looking for an experienced Venue Manager to take the lead, keep things running smoothly and help drive the venue forward. The role is full time and based in Canberra.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of Amici and lead and develop the team
• Maintain high standards across service and operations
• Look for opportunities to grow the business and work closely with the owners to bring the vision for the venue to life
• Take ownership, lead by example and put the guest experience at the heart of every decision

Required profile

• Solid experience in venue, restaurant, bar or floor management
• Natural leader who people want to work for, with great communication skills and the ability to think on your feet
• Understanding of the commercial side of hospitality, including labour costs, stock control and sales performance
• Genuine interest in food, wine and creating a great guest experience
• Current RSA certification and working knowledge of ACT liquor licensing requirements
• Availability to work a roster including evenings and weekends
• Valid and current right to work in Australia (evidence required before starting)
