About the role

The Dolphin Hotel is seeking a friendly and organised Venue Host to manage the welcome desk and support event coordination in a busy pub and dining environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests in the dining room, ensuring a warm first impression.
  • Coordinate functions and events with confidence and flair.
  • Manage table turnover efficiently while maintaining guest satisfaction.
  • Make quick, smart decisions during peak periods and communicate clearly with guests and team members.

Required profile

  • Confident, well‑presented with a natural engaging presence.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to keep the atmosphere welcoming.
  • Proactive, can‑do attitude and strong weekend availability.
  • Experience in hospitality or a genuine desire to develop hospitality skills.
