Vehicle Valeter – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Valeter to join our Arnold Clark branch in Perth. In this full‑time position you will ensure every vehicle on our showroom floor and in stock is presented to the highest standard, supporting sales and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Clean sold and stock vehicles to a high standard, both exterior and interior.
• Operate high‑powered pressure washers for exterior cleaning.
• Use industrial vacuums and shampoo equipment to clean and refresh vehicle interiors.
• Operate polishing and buffing machines to enhance bodywork finish.
• Maintain health and safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment.
• Inspect, maintain and report any defects on tools and machinery.
• Follow set timeframes and targets, logging work in an online diary system.
• Complete daily records of work performed and support additional branch duties as required.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence.
• Basic computer skills.
• High level of attention to detail and self‑motivation.
• Ability to work as part of a team and multitask.
• Willingness to attend training programmes; valet experience is a plus but not essential.
