VE Teacher, Electrical (Fixed-Term and Casual)

About the role

RMIT College of Vocational Education, Bundoora Campus, is seeking expressions of interest for current or aspiring VE Teachers, Electrical within the Trades Program area. Positions are fixed-term and casual, and the college offers 720 teaching hours per year, 4 weeks leave plus 2 weeks VE Leave and 17% superannuation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver course material and assess students
• Supervise students enrolled in selected courses in the schools
• Diagnose learning problems in students and propose and implement effective solutions

Required profile

• Relevant industry qualifications and vocational teaching qualifications, or currently obtaining a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Cert III and IV in Electrical
• Relevant trades qualifications and licences
• Substantial discipline knowledge and relevant industry experience
• Appointment is subject to passing a Working with Children check and a National Police Check
