Valuations Assistant Manager

About the role

Pitcher Partners is looking for a Valuations Assistant Manager in Brisbane, Queensland. The role supports the team in managing broader valuations engagements, delivering high-quality, independent and reliable valuations advice to clients. You will use your own valuations skills and technical knowledge, work on a range of engagements and take ownership of projects while mentoring peers. The position is based in the Brisbane office and is not remote.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial data accurately and write business valuation reports
• Prepare questions for clients and lead client management interviews
• Form a view on a client's business and equity value for discussion with the Director/Partner
• Analyse comparable companies and transactions, and become proficient in PPAs, intangible asset valuations, convertible notes, employee equity valuations and impairment testing
• Manage work-in-progress across projects and communicate issues to the team in a timely way
• Support business development, identify new work and process improvements
• Mentor and guide junior team members, reviewing their work and supporting their career progression
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients

Required profile

• Australian citizenship or a current valid Australian work visa (evidence may be requested)
• Ability to work onsite in Brisbane; relocation assistance is offered to the right international applicant
