University Partnerships Manager – Legal Education

About the role

Join the Academic Partnerships team to manage and grow relationships with Australian universities and law schools. You will act as a trusted advisor, connecting academics with legal textbooks, digital resources and AI‑enabled solutions. The role is hybrid, based in Brisbane or Melbourne, with regular travel across VIC and QLD.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, law schools, lecturers, and bookshops.
• Support existing customers and drive continued adoption of legal content and learning resources.
• Identify opportunities to increase engagement across your territory.
• Travel interstate to meet university partners, conduct campus visits, and host stakeholder events.
• Promote new and existing legal textbooks, e‑books and digital solutions.
• Understand curriculum requirements and align resources to course needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to share insights and support long‑term growth.
• Maintain accurate customer records and activity updates.

Required profile

• Confident, curious and comfortable building relationships with senior academic stakeholders.
• Law graduate, recent graduate, or experience in customer service, sales, account management, retail, education, publishing or professional services.
• A law degree or strong interest in legal education; degree completed in Australia in Law or a related professional discipline.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and influencing skills.
• Proactive, organised and professional approach.
• Comfortable working toward targets in a relationship‑led environment.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence, access to a car and willingness to travel interstate.
