Transport Scheduler

About the role

Coogee's Chlor-Alkali manufacturing facility in Lytton, Queensland, produces Sodium Hypochlorite, Hydrochloric Acid and Caustic Soda for water treatment, swimming pool and local industrial customers, with a distribution network serving depots and clients across QLD and NSW. As a Transport Scheduler in this full-time position, you will coordinate and optimise transportation operations to meet customer demands while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain transportation schedules to meet delivery deadlines, complying with NHVAS and Dangerous Goods legislation
• Monitor and adjust schedules in response to changes in demand, traffic conditions or other factors
• Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers and other logistics personnel for timely and safe delivery of goods
• Analyse transportation data to find ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies

Required profile

• Proven experience in transport scheduling or logistics, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
• Solid knowledge of heavy transport safety principles and regulations, including CoR requirements
• Experience in Major Hazard Facility or fuel or chemical industries is highly desirable but not essential
• Right to live and work in Australia; candidates may be asked to complete compliance checks
