Transmission Line Labourer – Renewable Energy Project

About the role

We are looking for dedicated Labourers to support the construction, stringing and installation of high‑voltage transmission lines for the Central‑West Orana Renewable Energy Zone in New South Wales. The role is part of a 14‑days‑on / 7‑days‑off roster and involves working on remote sites with a focus on safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in erecting and installing transmission line structures and components.
• Support conductor stringing, sagging and tensioning activities.
• Carry and handle materials such as poles, fittings and hardware.
• Assist rigging crews, dogmen and crane operators during lifting operations.
• Perform general civil and transmission line construction labour duties.
• Maintain strict adherence to site safety and environmental procedures.
• Work at heights and in remote outdoor conditions as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in civil construction or transmission line work (preferred).
• Physically fit and able to work in remote outdoor environments.
• Willingness to travel to Sydney or the site and comply with a 14‑on/7‑off roster.

Required skills

• Construction White Card.
• Working at Heights ticket (preferred).
• Basic rigging or dogman ticket (desirable).
