Transaction Banking Specialist - Mid North Coast & Northern NSW

About the role

CommBank's Business Bank is recruiting a Transaction Banking Specialist for its Specialist Sales & Client Solutions (SS&CS) team, based across the Mid and Far North NSW coast and open to candidates from Coffs Harbour, Lismore, Port Macquarie or Byron Bay. You will support Commercial and Agribusiness clients with tailored transaction banking solutions that strengthen their working capital and cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Identify opportunities across Cash Management, Merchant Solutions, BPAY, Direct Debit, Corporate Cards and Partnerships for clients with turnover above $3M and up to $150M.
• Drive new-to-bank growth and deepen existing relationships to improve clients' working capital and cash flow.
• Build, manage and convert a high-quality pipeline of transaction banking opportunities across varied client segments.
• Create innovative, customer-focused transaction banking solutions using deep product expertise.
• Work with relationship teams to uncover opportunities, improve portfolio performance and advance key initiatives.
• Coach bankers with insights that strengthen transaction banking knowledge and customer outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of business payments and the wider payments ecosystem, with the drive to master the transaction banking offering.
• Confident working with complex structures such as trusts and partnerships.
• Understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Fast-paced, organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Commercially sharp, future-focused and able to build lasting client relationships.
