Training Facilitator – Employability Skills

About the role

The Training Facilitator – Employability Skills Training (EST) will deliver, facilitate and assess training programmes that help participants become more competitive in the local labour market. You will work within APM’s extensive network to support individuals across diverse cohorts.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging, tailored sessions on employability, job readiness and foundational skills.
• Provide one‑on‑one coaching, design training materials, and incorporate real‑world scenarios and employer feedback.
• Monitor learner progress through assessments and reporting, and raise awareness of the EST program via outreach and partnerships.
• Collaborate with employment consultants, community organisations and employers to align training with market demands.

Required profile

• Experienced career counsellor or trainer with ability to use specialised career assessment tools.
• Strong relationship‑building, networking and service promotion skills.
• Eligibility to work in Australia, a current driver’s licence, and willingness to complete background checks.

• Design and adaptation of training materials to meet industry trends.
