Trades Assistant - Modular Building Crew

About the role

Randstad is recruiting experienced Trade Assistants for a modular building crew in Elizabeth North, South Australia. The work covers building modular frames, roofing, walls and flooring, including cladding, gyprocking, insulation and the use of power tools. The position is temporary and full time.

Key responsibilities

• Help build modular frames, roofing, walls and flooring
• Handle cladding, gyprocking, insulation and power tools
• Work with production machines and aids
• Assemble beams

Required profile

• Solid experience in a Trade Assistant role
• Knowledge of construction, manufacturing and assembly work or labouring
• Proactive attitude and enjoyment of physical work
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Basic numerical skills; White Card preferred
