Carpenter - Modular Building Fit-Outs

About the role

A client of Randstad, an established manufacturer of modular and transportable buildings, has won new projects and is ramping up for the end-of-year rush. This is a casual assignment based in Edinburgh North, South Australia, with immediate starts, project work and the possibility of moving to permanent employment depending on performance and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Complete 1st and 2nd fix carpentry across diverse modular building units.
• Carry out high-quality internal fit-outs, including cupboards, cabinetry and custom mouldings.
• Install timber and aluminium framing, doors, hardware and windows.
• Assist team members with bathroom tiling preparation and general finishing work.
• Safely handle materials and lift components in line with site safety protocols.

Required profile

• Certificate III in Carpentry with a minimum of 2 years of Australian trade experience.
• Proven ability to safely complete manual handling, lifting and repetitive trade tasks.
• Owns basic trade hand tools; cordless power tools are supplied on site.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment functional assessment and drug and alcohol screen.

What we offer

• $48.19 per hour plus penalty rates, Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm (8-10 hour days).
• Same work site each day, in a well-equipped indoor workshop with a spacious yard.
• Overtime available, including optional Saturday shifts once settled.
• Public holiday days off and work through the end-of-year rush into next year.
