Trade Counter Assistant - Western Melbourne Branch

About the role

Reece is recruiting full-time, permanent branch staff across its western Melbourne branch network (St. Albans, Burnside, Wyndham Vale, Altona and Altona Meadows). As a branch staff member you help plumbers and other tradespeople access the products they need for residential, commercial and renovation projects. You will work a set roster Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, with occasional Saturdays.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service and give customers information about products
• Provide quotes in person and by phone
• Pick and pack orders and carry out stock control
• Keep the branch tidy and safe
• Make occasional deliveries to customers using a company vehicle

Required profile

• Experience in retail, customer service, warehouse operations, delivery driving or a similar role
• Comfortable in both customer-facing and warehouse environments
• Current, valid driver's licence
• Flexible and open to working across different tasks and branch locations in the local area
• Motivated to develop a long-term career with Reece
