Terminal Operator

About the role

This full‑time, 12‑month contract position is based at a fuel terminal in Silverwater, NSW. As a Terminal Operator you will help ensure the safe and efficient movement of fuel products through the site, working closely with drivers, contractors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate urgent customer deliveries with sales, warehouses and transport providers.
• Manage bulk orders to optimise transport efficiency and costs.
• Oversee returns, delivery exceptions and product redirects to meet service KPIs.
• Provide responsive customer support and resolve service issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with HSSE, quality and environmental standards.
• Report safety, security, environmental and quality incidents as required.
• Support general dispatch, fulfilment and customer service activities as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Terminal Operator or in a similar industrial operations role.
• Strong understanding of operational procedures, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving ability.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) and a valid driver’s licence.
• Willingness to complete required company training and certification programmes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
