Tenant Fit Out Manager – Australia & NZ

About the role

Fever is looking for an experienced Tenant Fit Out Manager to lead the production team delivering touring and recurring experiences across Australia and New Zealand. You will oversee all aspects of fit‑out production, ensuring high‑quality, on‑budget events that align with Fever Originals’ creative vision.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Australia Production team, fostering a supportive environment and developing team members.
• Assess regional projects, allocate work to internal staff or freelancers, and monitor progress toward deliverables.
• Oversee venue preparation, including procurement, permits, insurance, and technical validation for parks, stadiums and open fields.
• Control build costing, monitor budgets and proactively flag potential overruns.
• Coordinate kit movement, trucking plans and cross‑loading between sites.
• Maintain a directory of freelancers and service providers and nurture industry contacts.

Required profile

• 7+ years in commercial fit‑out management and 1‑2 years of people‑management experience.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines and stay within budgets in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong network of vendors, venues and deep knowledge of permitting, liquor licensing and safety standards in Australia.
• Hands‑on leadership style with a solution‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Permitting – deep knowledge of local government approvals, event permits, planning, building and signage.
• Liquor licensing – experience navigating Australian state liquor regulations.
• Safety standards – working knowledge of BCA requirements, fire codes and public‑space safety regulations.
• Build costing and budget monitoring.
• Kit logistics – planning and execution of equipment movement and trucking.
