Tenancy Coordinator – Construction

About the role

The Tenancy Coordinator – Construction will lead the delivery of retail tenancy projects across Scentre Group’s Westfield centres in Australia and New Zealand. You will ensure that base builds, landlord works, Category 1 works and tenant fit‑outs are completed safely, on time and within budget, supporting successful store openings.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of retail tenancy projects, coordinating base build, landlord works and tenant fit‑outs.
• Maintain integrated programmes aligned with leasing milestones and opening dates.
• Monitor programme performance, identify risks and implement corrective actions to protect retailer opening timelines.
• Coordinate landlord works, retailer fit‑outs, access requirements and operational readiness activities.
• Serve as the primary interface with shop fitters, sub‑contractors, consultants and centre teams.
• Support procurement and contractor coordination in line with project budgets.
• Arrange site access, inductions and operational readiness activities for tenancy works.
• Collaborate closely with Leasing, Design, Facilities and Operations to minimise disruption and ensure smooth retailer openings.
• Oversee handover to tenants and manage opening readiness activities.
• Maintain accurate project records, programme tracking and delivery status reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering retail tenancy or fit‑out projects in a construction environment.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, working with leasing, design, facilities and external contractors.
• Attention to safety, compliance and budgetary controls.
