Telehealth Doctor – Remote, Flexible Hours

About the role

InstantScripts is seeking experienced doctors and general practitioners to provide patient‑centred telehealth consultations across Australia. This independent contractor position allows you to work from anywhere in the country, set your own schedule, and deliver high‑quality care using a secure, technology‑enabled platform.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations with patients, ensuring clinical safety and adherence to rigorous standards.
• Document encounters using AI‑assisted note‑taking tools and the My Health Records system.
• Prescribe medications securely through a two‑factor authenticated platform.
• Collaborate with a community of doctors for peer support and clinical guidance.

Required profile

• Australian work rights (no sponsorship).
• Current AHPRA registration without restrictions.
• Minimum PGY4 experience, preferably in General Medicine, Emergency Medicine or General Practice.
• Availability of at least 7 hours per week.
• Residency in Australia and strong communication skills.
• Comfortable using digital health technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, specifically My Health Records.
• Experience using AI‑driven documentation tools.
• Ability to navigate telehealth platforms securely.
