Telehealth Doctor (Remote, Australia)

About the role

Dociva is seeking AHPRA‑registered medical practitioners to join its Australian telehealth platform. This remote contractor role allows doctors to review online medical certificate applications, conduct video or phone consultations when needed, and document outcomes within a structured clinical workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Review patient‑submitted applications for medical certificates.
• Conduct telehealth consultations (phone or video) where clinically required.
• Assess clinical suitability and document outcomes according to Dociva’s governance framework.
• Follow platform policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
• Support future service expansion such as general consultations, prescriptions, and referrals.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration and authority to practise medicine in Australia.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Ability to provide telehealth services from within Australia.
• Strong clinical judgement and high documentation standards.
• Comfortable using technology in a secure online environment.
• Reliable internet connection and a private consultation setting.
• Commitment to patient safety, privacy, and professional conduct.
