Telehealth Doctor – Flexible Remote GP Role

About the role

InstantScripts is looking for experienced General Practitioners to provide patient‑centred telehealth consultations from the comfort of their home. This is an independent contractor (ABN) position that gives you full control over your schedule while delivering high‑quality care across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations with patients using InstantScripts’ secure telehealth platform.
• Adhere to rigorous clinical standards and governance backed by Wesfarmers Health.
• Prescribe medication securely with two‑factor authentication and ISMS 27001‑accredited systems.
• Utilise My Health Records and AI‑assisted note‑taking tools to streamline documentation.
• Collaborate with a network of doctors for clinical support and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Fellow/VR GP, GP Registrar, or hospital‑based doctor (minimum PGY4 experience).
• Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions.
• Right to work in Australia (no sponsorship available).
• Strong communication skills and comfort with fast‑paced technology.

Required skills

• Proficiency with My Health Records.
• Experience using AI tools for medical note taking.
• Ability to navigate a telehealth platform securely.
• Familiarity with two‑factor authentication and data security standards.
