Technology Associate Program (Traineeship)

About the role

CommBank's Technology Associate Program supports people from non-traditional pathways entering the tech workforce for the first time, in roles within Engineering, Data Science or Cybersecurity. It offers an earn-while-you-learn experience with long-term opportunities, tailored to each participant's goals.

What you'll do

• Join an established team aligned to your skills and interests and contribute to projects from day one
• Work on technologies used by more than 17 million customers and help protect them against rapidly changing threats
• Take part in the development of the bank's application platform, including the Cardless Cash, Spend Tracker, Benefits Finder and Step Pay apps

Required profile

• Completed an alternative education pathway in Engineering, Data Science or Cybersecurity such as TAFE, a traineeship, bootcamp, micro-credential or vendor certification; a TAFE diploma is sufficient for early-career candidates
• Recent tech qualification completed within the last 12 months or due within the next 3 months, with less than 12 months of tech work experience
• Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or Australian permanent residency
• Based in Sydney, Melbourne or Perth and able to work at least two days per week
• Open to sharing and receiving support from a community of technologists
