Technical Support Specialist (L1/L2) – 24/7 Roster

About the role

Experteq is seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join its Service Centre team. You will be the first point of contact for Level 1 and Level 2 managed‑services incidents, providing support for Windows servers, third‑party applications, user endpoints and general administration. The role operates on a 24 × 7 roster, Monday to Sunday, and requires Australian citizenship.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line and limited second‑line IT support to clients via phone, email or service‑management tools.
• Log, manage and resolve incidents and service requests using ServiceNow.
• Install and configure software and hardware on user devices.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to troubleshoot and close technical issues.
• Assist in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures.
• Participate in project work and ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years hands‑on IT support experience in a corporate environment.
• Sydney‑based and able to work on‑site when rostered.
• Australian citizenship.
• Customer‑focused with a proven track record of delivering support.

Required skills

• ServiceNow – incident, request, task and CMDB familiarity.
• Microsoft Fundamentals certification (AZ‑900, MS‑900) or equivalent.
• Azure fundamentals – resource groups, VMs, identity, basic cloud concepts.
• Networking basics – DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, routing.
• Microsoft 365 administration – user provisioning, Outlook, MFA, licensing.
• Windows Server, Windows 10 and Windows 11 support.
• Active Directory – accounts, groups, password resets, GPO impacts.
• Endpoint management – basic Intune or similar Azure portal navigation.
