Technical Support and Sales Representative

About the role

Vepalabs helps veterinary clinics across Australia deliver faster, more accurate diagnostic results through point-of-care technology. It is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Technical Support and Sales Representative to join its Sydney team. The role is field-based, working with veterinary clinics across Sydney to support their diagnostic analysers and laboratory solutions, with travel mainly within the Sydney metropolitan area and occasional regional trips.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to veterinary clinics by phone, email and onsite visits.
• Deliver training and education to clinic teams.
• Build customer relationships and identify sales opportunities.
• Demonstrate products to prospective customers.
• Troubleshoot analyser, software and equipment issues.
• Perform quality control testing and equipment checks.
• Maintain service records and customer information.
• Take part in an after-hours support roster about once a week.

Required profile

• Veterinary nursing experience or diagnostics experience.
• Experience with veterinary diagnostic analysers, technical support, field service or healthcare diagnostics is an advantage.
• Current driver's licence.

Required skills

• Confidence using Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems.
• Good general computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Strong communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
