Technical Project Manager

About the role

The Technical Project Manager will lead the delivery of complex ICT projects within the Enterprise Technology Division. Reporting to the Director, Business Management Team, the role coordinates business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to ensure projects meet scope, budget and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of New Policy Proposal (NPP) and capital‑funded initiatives, from initiation through transition and closure.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, risk and issue registers, and dependency logs.
• Identify, map and manage dependencies across infrastructure, cloud, networks, cyber security, applications and service‑management teams.
• Provide evidence‑based advice on progress, risks and emerging delivery impacts to senior decision‑makers.

Required profile

• Formal project‑management qualifications such as PRINCE2, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), PMP or Agile Project Management.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary technical teams and manage complex project dependencies.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
