Project Manager – Product Delivery

About the role

The Project Manager – Product Delivery will lead the creation, testing, implementation and maintenance of change initiatives across Auto & General’s Product, Pricing & Underwriting Department. You will work from either the Brisbane or Sunshine Coast office, collaborating with multiple departments to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Apply Auto & General’s Project Management framework and methodologies (PMP, Prince2) to drive project delivery.
• Analyse business needs, translate them into requirements and develop comprehensive project plans, including risk and change management.
• Coordinate with technology and business teams, manage the IT development funnel and provide status reports.
• Identify and report capability constraints, suggest improvements to the delivery framework and conduct post‑implementation reviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management, preferably with PMP or Prince2 certification.
• Strong background in process improvement or system enhancement within finance or insurance.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
