Technical Operations Supervisor

About the role

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Technical Operations Supervisor to lead its Farleigh laboratory team. Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager, you will ensure high‑quality technical services for concrete and aggregate testing while maintaining laboratory operations, quality systems and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and quality system management.
• Coordinate concrete and aggregate testing programs to meet Australian Standards and testing requirements.
• Oversee equipment calibration, servicing and certification schedules.
• Analyse and validate test results using QESTLab, SAP and related systems.
• Support laboratory staff and promote a strong safety and quality culture.

Required profile

• Approximately 5 years of experience in construction materials testing.
• Demonstrated experience in concrete and aggregate testing.
• Sound understanding of NATA accreditation requirements and laboratory quality systems.
• Qualifications in Construction Materials Testing.
• Proven ability to lead, train and coordinate team members.
