Technical Lead – AWS Cloud Solutions

About the role

Digital Biz Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a Technical Lead to design, implement and deploy scalable, highly‑available AWS solutions for major client projects across Australia. This full‑time position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to mentor junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and deployment of fault‑tolerant systems on AWS.
• Architect and manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, RDS and VPC.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild and CodeDeploy.
• Develop infrastructure as code with CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Implement security best practices, IAM policies, encryption and compliance standards.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues with CloudWatch, CloudTrail and related tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers on AWS architecture and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in AWS architecture and DevOps.
• Eligibility for a work visa (can be provided).
• Flexible working hours.
