About the role
Aurecon is seeking a Technical Director for its Roads & Highways team in Queensland. You will lead large‑scale infrastructure projects, mentor emerging engineers, and help shape the future of transport networks across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, development and delivery of high‑impact road projects, ensuring quality, sustainability and innovation.
- Set technical standards and drive best practices across the engineering team.
- Mentor and develop a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Collaborate with professionals across the ANZ region to leverage diverse expertise.
- Champion the integration of new engineering technologies and sustainable practices.
Required profile
- Minimum 15 years of engineering experience with a proven track record in roads and highways projects.
- Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
- Strong leadership and team‑development capabilities.
- Forward‑thinking approach with a passion for sustainable, innovative solutions.
- Deep understanding of the transport sector and ability to influence technical direction.
