Technical Design Authority (TDA)

About the role

An experienced Technical Design Authority (TDA) is sought to lead architecture, design governance and technical decision-making for enterprise-scale applications. The role works closely with business stakeholders, architects, development and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure and maintainable solutions. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Java-based application development, cloud-native architectures, microservices, DevOps practices and enterprise integration.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern application architecture, technical standards and design principles.
• Lead technical design reviews and give architectural guidance to development teams.
• Design and implement scalable microservices-based solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, performance and compliance standards.
• Drive API-first development and integration using RESTful services.
• Provide technical leadership across the SDLC, from requirements through production deployment.
• Review code quality, performance optimization and solution scalability.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD best practices and deployment strategies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and support production issue analysis.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience.
• Strong expertise in Java-based application development, microservices and enterprise integration.

Required skills

• Primary: Java, Spring Boot, RESTful web services, MongoDB, Oracle, IBM MQ, Ansible, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Secondary: Angular, Apache Kafka, Azure DevOps, Apache Tomcat.
