Technical Cleaner – Data Centres & Cleanrooms

About the role

BACS Contamination Control is seeking hands‑on Technical Cleaners, Leading Hands and Supervisors to maintain pristine conditions in cleanrooms, data centres and other high‑performance environments across Melbourne. The role is active, physical work with no desk‑based duties, and may involve occasional regional or interstate travel.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning in controlled environments following strict contamination‑control procedures.
• Work as part of disciplined, high‑performing teams to meet exacting cleanliness standards.
• Adhere to safety and security protocols, including police/security checks.
• Document cleaning activities and report any deviations from standards.

Required profile

• Strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
• Good communication abilities and basic computer literacy.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel when required.
• Australian citizenship (mandatory due to security restrictions).
• Ex‑military experience is welcomed.
