Team Manager - Operations

About the role

Lineage is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead its cold‑storage operations facility in Dandenong South, Melbourne. The role focuses on safe, compliant, and profitable site performance while delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and champion site safety initiatives, ensuring adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Lead by example, modelling company values and fostering collaboration across teams.
• Maintain consistent customer service levels and address operational performance issues promptly.
• Manage team performance, review KPIs, achieve productivity targets, and oversee inventory control.
• Plan and meet daily and weekly labour and resourcing requirements.
• Ensure all team members are trained on machinery, equipment, and warehouse work systems.
• Promote a constructive and positive team culture through regular engagement.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in a similar logistics or transport role, preferably within retail logistics or fast‑paced FMCG environments.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures, product safety, quality, and legal compliance.
• Leadership experience managing large operational teams.
• Knowledge of profit and loss, KPI drivers for storage, handling, and distribution costs.
• Basic understanding of labour cost control and its impact on revenue.
