Team Manager

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Team Manager to lead the Proactive Services team across multiple Woolworths stores. You will ensure trolleys are available, stores remain clean and safe, and waste is managed efficiently while supporting both customers and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team responsible for cleaning, trolley collection and waste support.
• Create and manage rosters to cover all daily operational tasks.
• Collaborate with Store Leadership to identify challenges, opportunities and priorities.
• Handle time‑and‑attendance activities, track hours, manage absences and ensure policy compliance.
• Order and control consumables such as cleaning supplies within budget.
• Perform core operational duties alongside the team, including cleaning, trolley collection and waste handling.

Required profile

• Ambitious mindset with a passion for retail and people.
• Flexible availability to work early mornings, days, late nights and weekends across different store environments.
• Physical fitness for demanding tasks and ability to work in shop floors, fridges, freezers and car parks.
• Organised, ensuring the team has necessary equipment and supplies.
• Comfortable operating within regulated frameworks such as Food Safety and industrial regulations.
• Valid full Australian driver’s licence (Green P’s or full licence) for trolley collection vehicles.
