About the role
Eurofins is seeking a Team Leader for its Organics laboratory in Welshpool, WA. This full‑time permanent position starts mid‑2025 and offers a standard Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑5 pm schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Receive daily priority lists and ensure timely completion of all analyses.
- Check worklists, organise urgent samples, and perform internal audits and CAPA responses.
- Coordinate monthly internal calibrations of pipettes, balances, timers and thermometers.
- Liaise with Analytical Service Managers for results checking and repeat testing.
- Assist with instrument troubleshooting, method development and staff training.
- Monitor staff QC performance and oversee section work.
Required profile
- Diploma in Science, Laboratory Techniques or equivalent.
- Experience working in an ISO‑17025 accredited laboratory.
- Proven competency with GC P&T, GC‑FID, GC‑MS and LC‑MS instruments.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a technical environment and continuously improve processes.
