About the role
Eurofins is seeking an Organics Supervisor to lead a team in its Welshpool laboratory. This full‑time, permanent position starts mid‑2026 and offers a standard Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑5 pm schedule with an additional 1.5% superannuation on top of the national rate.
Key responsibilities
- Receive daily priority lists and ensure timely analysis of samples.
- Check spreadsheets and worklists, organise urgent samples, and monitor staff QC performance.
- Conduct internal audits, respond to CAPAs, and manage monthly calibrations of equipment such as pipettes, balances, timers and thermometers.
- Liaise with Analytical Service Managers on result verification and repeat analyses.
- Assist with instrument troubleshooting, method development, verifications and provide training to analysts.
Required profile
- Diploma in Science, Laboratory Techniques or equivalent.
- Experience working in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory.
- Comfort in technical environments and ability to build business plans or initiatives.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and a desire for continuous learning.
Required skills
- Experience with GC P&T, GC‑FID, GC‑MS and LC‑MS instruments.
- Competency in internal audits, CAPA handling and equipment calibration.
- Ability to develop and verify analytical methods.
