About the role
The School of Computing at Macquarie University is building a casual academic pool for 2026 to support its range of undergraduate and postgraduate units. This role involves delivering high‑quality teaching and engaging with students across the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
Key responsibilities
- Provide teaching support for undergraduate and postgraduate computing courses, including lectures, tutorials and assessments.
- Prepare and deliver a short video demonstrating your teaching style as part of the selection process.
Required profile
- Completed Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Computing or a closely related discipline.
- Strong discipline‑specific knowledge and an appreciation of scholarly teaching.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to interact effectively with students, staff and the community.
