About the role
The Teacher's Aide will support additional student learning and engagement within Aspect's Distance Education program. This is a maximum‑term contract starting Term 4, 2026, designed to tailor learning environments to individual student needs.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in delivering evidence‑informed learning programs for students on the autism spectrum.
- Collaborate with school psychologists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to develop quality educational experiences.
- Implement Individual Plans and support transitions of students into mainstream settings.
Required profile
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or other intellectual disabilities (desirable).
- Certificate III in Education Support or relevant tertiary qualification (desirable).
- Current NSW Working with Children Check; driver’s licence may be required.
Required skills
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of autism‑specific educational approaches.
