Tax Specialist – Senior Technical Tax Advisor

WT Partners is seeking a senior tax professional to lead technical compliance reviews, deliver targeted training, and contribute to high‑level corporate tax advisory work. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys deep legislative research and shaping the technical direction of a tax team.

Key responsibilities

• Review and guide team compliance work across a diverse client portfolio, ensuring accuracy and adherence to current Australian tax legislation.
• Develop and deliver tailored technical training to accountants, enhancing tax knowledge and team capability.
• Participate in corporate tax advisory engagements, including structuring, cross‑border issues, and complex transaction planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 6‑7 years of Australian tax experience, preferably in public practice.
• Strong passion for technical tax research, interpretation, and teaching.
• CA qualification (or equivalent) and Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, high‑quality work ethic.
