About the role

Join a well‑regarded boutique accounting and advisory firm in Subiaco, trusted by high‑net‑worth individuals and dynamic SMEs. As a Tax Manager you will own a portfolio of SME and high‑net‑worth clients from day one, leading meetings, shaping tax and structuring strategies, and becoming a trusted adviser on complex matters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage direct client relationships, running tax and advisory meetings.
• Advise on complex tax and business matters including Division 7A, CGT, FBT, GST and structuring strategies.
• Take responsibility for compliance outcomes across companies, trusts, partnerships and sole traders.
• Review and oversee BAS and IAS prepared by junior and intermediate accountants.
• Mentor and develop junior and intermediate team members, supporting their technical growth.

Required profile

• Strong Australian public practice experience in tax with exposure to SME and high‑net‑worth clients.
• CA or CPA qualification, or in the final stages of completion.
• Proven capability across Division 7A, CGT, FBT, GST and structuring advice.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to lead client meetings independently.
• Collaborative mindset with a genuine interest in mentoring junior staff.
