Tax Accountant – Regional Victoria & South Australia

About the role

Join a well‑established Accounting and Business Advisory firm as a Tax Accountant working across regional offices in Victoria and South Australia. You will deliver professional accounting, taxation and advisory services to a diverse client base while developing your career in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships and companies.
• Prepare BAS, IAS and FBT returns.
• Assist with taxation and business advisory engagements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Liaise directly with clients and key stakeholders.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Research and resolve complex taxation matters.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Australian public practice accounting.
• CA or CPA qualification (or currently undertaking studies).
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance.
• Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for various entity structures.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail.
