Tax Accountant

About the role

PKF Newcastle is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Tax Accountant to join its growing team. You will work alongside experienced tax specialists, delivering compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base ranging from SMEs to multinational organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax compliance engagements and income tax returns.
• Draft complex tax advice covering SME, corporate, and international tax matters.
• Assist with due diligence, M&A transactions, and business restructures.
• Provide indirect tax, employment tax, and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) advice.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Commerce, Law or related discipline.
• CA qualification, CTA accreditation, or actively working towards completion.
• 3+ years’ experience in taxation compliance and consulting.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and written communication skills.
