Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

Spawnpoint Media is seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead recruitment across its diverse creator‑economy business. Based in Melbourne, the role will manage the full hiring lifecycle for both corporate and creative positions, from traditional HQ roles to actors, writers, artists and gaming specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end recruitment process, from job ad creation and posting to candidate onboarding.
• Partner with department heads and hiring managers to source, evaluate and present high‑quality candidates aligned with role requirements.
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert for the talent tech stack, including Team Tailor, LinkedIn Recruiter, Monday.com and Discord.
• Conduct market research on industry trends and salary benchmarks to ensure competitive offers.
• Proactively source talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, YouTube Ads, forums, referrals and other industry platforms.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews and ensure alignment with Spawnpoint Media’s culture and values.
• Lead offer negotiations and maintain a fair, transparent process.
• Provide a consistent, inclusive candidate experience from first contact through start date.
• Maintain confidentiality of candidate and company information.
• Continuously improve recruiting workflows, tools and pipelines.

Required profile

• Passionate about the creator economy, social media and gaming.
• Proven ability to source and engage both traditional and creative talent.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to guide hiring decisions.
• Experience working with hiring managers and managing multiple requisitions.
