Systems Engineer – Warehouse Automation

About the role

Join Dematic, a global leader in material handling and systems engineering, as a Systems Engineer based in Belrose. You will work on cutting‑edge warehouse automation projects, applying Systems Engineering methodologies to ensure successful integration across disciplines and meet customer operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Systems Engineering processes and procedures to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Write technical documents, including system and subsystem specifications, to manage the technical baseline.
• Coordinate onsite test execution during commissioning of highly automated material handling equipment.
• Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including customers, project managers, and engineering teams.
• Promote group standards, innovation, risk identification, and safety management.

Required profile

• Qualification in Systems, Computer, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience commissioning material handling, WMS/WCS, order fulfilment, and warehouse automation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Willingness to travel to local and international project sites.
