Systems Engineer

About the role

Symbio, part of the Aussie Broadband Group, is looking for a Systems Engineer to keep its core platforms running smoothly, securely and at scale. You will join a fast‑growing team that supports carrier infrastructure and enterprise collaboration across the Asia‑Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain core infrastructure systems.
• Ensure systems are secure, reliable and highly available.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across production environments.
• Manage patching, upgrades and vulnerability remediation.
• Automate processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Support change‑management and rollout activities with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders across the business.

Required profile

• Strong experience managing on‑prem infrastructure (VMware, KVM, bare‑metal servers).
• Solid Linux administration experience.
• Willingness to support after‑hours maintenance when required.
