Survey Statistician - AI Trainer

About the role

DataAnnotation is seeking experienced quantitative professionals to join its remote DataAnnotation team as Survey Statisticians – AI Trainers. You will work directly with cutting‑edge AI models, evaluating and improving their ability to perform rigorous statistical analysis and scientific reasoning.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated quantitative work for technical accuracy and real‑world validity.
• Design and solve quantitative problems used to train and benchmark AI systems, covering forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
• Write clear technical explanations and well‑documented analytical code.
• Provide feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI models for quantitative reasoning.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in a quantitative role such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, or operations research.
• Comfortable writing and reviewing end‑to‑end analytical code.
• Fluent English with strong written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred.

Required skills

• Coding experience for analytical tasks.
• Statistical methods (regression, classification, hypothesis testing, A/B testing).
• Predictive modeling and time‑series forecasting.
• Experiment design and statistical inference.
