Support Worker - Adult & Children's Services

About the role

Westhaven, a regional NSW disability support provider, is expanding its services in Wagga Wagga and is looking for Support Workers for its Adult and Children's Services teams. The work centres on helping clients live life on their own terms, whether through casual work or a permanent part-time role. Applications close on 30 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Teach children or adults new daily living skills and help them master routines such as getting ready in the morning.
• Take clients on social outings, hobbies and community events to promote inclusion.
• Provide dignified personal care and attend appointments.
• Keep clear records, including case notes and incident reports.

Required profile

• Valid, independent Australian working rights (visa sponsorship is not offered).
• Current NSW driver's licence and willingness to drive.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• A paid NDIS Workers Check (NDSWC) and a Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Willingness to be listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR).
• Qualifications in Disability or Community Services are a bonus; person-first skills are valued above all.

What we offer

• Pay of $36.22-$39.53 per hour under the SCHADS Award, plus casual/shift loadings and 12% superannuation.
