Supply Chain Intelligence Analyst

About the role

Babcock, an aerospace and defence company, is hiring a Supply Chain Intelligence Analyst in Henderson. You will analyse maintenance demand, supplier spend, procurement activity, pricing coverage and performance data to give actionable intelligence that supports procurement and supply chain management. You will work closely with procurement, commercial and operational stakeholders to build reporting solutions, dashboards and analytical tools.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse maintenance demand, supplier spend, procurement activity, pricing coverage and performance data
• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards showing business performance
• Develop Power Query transformations and automated reporting solutions
• Use advanced Excel for data modelling, trend analysis, forecasting, dashboards and executive reporting
• Analyse operational, commercial, supplier and spend data to spot trends, opportunities, risks and improvements
• Turn complex datasets into clear insights and recommendations
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, validate data and deliver reporting solutions
• Maintain data quality, accuracy and governance

Required profile

• Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Commonwealth Defence Security Clearance
• Tertiary qualification in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent industry experience
• Proven experience in data analytics, business intelligence, commercial analysis and operational reporting
