Student Administration Support – Campus Casual Role

About the role

The Macquarie University Student Lifecycle team is hiring casual staff to support a range of student administration processes during peak periods. The role is on‑site at the Wallumattagal Campus and offers a vibrant environment close to public transport.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Manager and Student Lifecycle team with administrative processes across the student lifecycle.
• Perform data entry and update student records in university systems, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
• Receive and respond to student enquiries, triaging or escalating where appropriate.
• Review and verify information across internal and external platforms and follow up with students as required.

Required profile

• Availability to work on campus during the university’s peak periods (May‑August and December‑March).
• Previous experience in a customer‑service environment, either face‑to‑face or digital.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple systems and processes.

Required skills

• Data‑entry proficiency and accuracy.
