Structural Designer

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Structural Designer to join its Industrial team in Brisbane. You will work on resources, energy and heavy infrastructure projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, constructible designs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop structural models, drawings and documentation for industrial facilities, including steelwork, concrete structures, access platforms and equipment supports.
• Transform engineering sketches, calculations, point‑cloud data and project inputs into detailed, constructible design solutions.
• Collaborate with mechanical, piping, electrical and civil teams to produce coordinated multidisciplinary designs.
• Support site investigations and design verification activities, working with engineers, clients, contractors and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma, advanced diploma or equivalent qualification in structural engineering, civil design or drafting.
• Experience developing structural models and drawings for industrial, resources, energy or heavy infrastructure projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD or Bentley ProStructures.
• Experience using ProjectWise and Autodesk Forma for design information management and collaboration.
