Street Furniture Cleaning Operative

About the role

QMS, a leading outdoor media company in Australia, is hiring a Street Furniture Cleaning Operative in Rosebery, Sydney. The role involves cleaning and maintaining QMS's street furniture assets within the City of Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Clean all assets as assigned by supervisors and management
• Remove graffiti, stickers and unauthorised bill posting
• Follow safe working practices and protect your own and others' health and safety
• Follow QMS environmental and quality policies and procedures
• Report hazards, incidents and near misses according to company procedures
• Take part in training based on the maintenance manual, SWMS and SWPs
• Help plan preventive maintenance and carry out minor repairs as trained
• Provide input for weekly and monthly maintenance reports and record activities accurately on the mobility software platform

Required profile

• Ideally a full NSW "C" class driving licence
• Experience in a similar role (desirable)
• Experience working outdoors (desirable)
• Competent literacy and numeracy
• Primary focus on WHSEQ factors
• Physically fit for the tasks
• Proactive, dedicated and enthusiastic

Required skills

• Comfortable using technology and mobility reporting software
• Ability to follow safety and quality procedures
